Another Baby Shower

So, I have another baby shower to attend tomorrow for my cousin Danny's wife, Ania.  They are expecting a little boy.  He decided he wanted to set up a surprise shower for Ania and so he is requesting gift cards only, since he didn't want to tip her off by having a registry.  Since they are having a boy, I made a card with a gift card holder inside out of some really pretty blue pattern paper from Doodlebug Design.  Here is a picture of both the front of the card and the inside where I attached the gift card holder that I made as well.  I hope you like it!!

Baby Showers and friends, oh my!!

Hello again.  I wanted to share some more projects with all of you.  I sent my best friend Erin a card a  while back  and she brought it to me to get a picture of.  Here it is, I hope you like. 

I also made a gift card holder, which was super easy to make and you can make them for any occasion.

The last picture I have to share tonight is a double duty card.  I used a sketch from the Mojo Monday blog.  Mojo Monday 203 had a really nice sketch and I needed to make a baby shower card for my niece, Jade.  Here it is.  I think it came out really cute.

Trick or Treat

Hi again.  So it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted an entry and I showcased some of the cards that I have made and I have so many more to upload.  I had to make more invitations for my niece's baby shower and after I made them I decided to make a simple halloween card as well.  Here is both the shower invite and the halloween card.  I hope you like.

So, I have finally got around to uploading my cards.  I have made others but those were given out for various occasions.  I look forward to any comments or suggestions that you guys would have for me.

This was for a baby shower for a friend's future granddaughter.  It isn't even one of my better cards but they all loved it.

This was a little 3x3 card that I made really quick one night.  It says "You make me oh so very happy!"

This is a cool card that I saw on a you tube video and wanted to try.  I haven't finished it yet.  I still want to add something on the top of the diamond.  Isn't it a cute card?

So these two cards were made using the Martha Stewart Stamp around the Page that I got from HSN.  I really like them.  I hope she comes out with more designs for it.

This card was made using the Campin' Critters Cricut Cartridge.  I thought the bear was so cute!!

Well, these are some of my cards and I'll start posting my cards regularly as I make them.  I'm not quite at the point where I feel comfortable making a You Tube video just yet but i'm sure that will come one day.  Good bye for now.

Hello everyone!  I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a little while.  I never know if I should post each card I make or wait until I make a really special one.  I think I may start to post all the cards I make to show how I am progressing in my card making abilities.  So just some news in my life.  My dad's birthday was yesterday and today was my niece's 7th birthday!  So, happy birthday to both of them.  On a sadder note, my friend and tenant, Donna just passed away this evening.  I am feeling really sad and I am going to miss her terribly.  Donna was a wonderful woman and she will be missed greatly.  I'm just glad that all the suffering she has been going through is finally over because she is in a much better place and all the illnesses that she had are gone and she is with Jesus!  Well, that is my update for this evening.  I promise to post more frequently.  Bye for now!!

Mojo Monday is Thinking of You

Hi again!  So, i've been lurking around a lot of blogs and I found the Mojo Monday Blog and thought it is a great idea to practice my card making.  Here is my first attempt at one of the sketches.  This is for this week's Mojo Monday 199.  I hope you all like it.

Here are three cards I made for an upcoming baby shower for my cousin-in-law.  The cards are for me, my friend and her daughters, and my Aunt-in-law.  Let me know what you think.

Hi again!  As I promised, I am posting some of the pics for the cards I've already created.  They are definitely not as elaborate as some of the cards I've seen on other blogs and on YouTube, but I am hoping to eventually get to that level of creativity.  Here is one I am really proud of!!
